Weight Loss Tips!

Ok! So many of my friends have been wondering how I lose weight. Finally, I got off my lazy butt and wrote this post about it. I am in no way a doctor or certified to do any sort of medical thing. Please make sure you're in good health before you start any sort of diet!

I was trying to lose weight because I was overweight and I couldn't fit into a cosplay. I'm 5'0 at the moment and before I weighted 132.5 pounds... Yikes! I had no problems with being fat appearance wise but I could literally feel the extra flab dragging me down when I tried to perform any sort of physical activity. The journey begins!

I lost 20 pounds in about 4 months (Because I kept going off my diet) and I now weigh 113.5 pounds. My goal is 105 at least. Here are some tips to help you lose weight.

1. You have to have a healthy diet. After doing some research online, I came across the myfitnesspal app. It's an easy way for me to count my calories and keep track of my nutrition. You can also log exercises and calories burned. Personally I hate dieting the most because I love food. So much. Especially junk food. But you have to start cutting all the junk or else you won't be able to lose weight!

Do not go on a crash diet!! Those do not work, you just gain all the weight back afterwards and it's unhealthy anyway. Don't starve yourself either. Myfitnesspal gives you a limit of only 1200 calories but if you're feeling very hungry, eat! It won't really make a difference if you go over by 200 calories or so, but it will make your weight loss a little slower. It's okay to slowly work down to 1200 calories. Don't rush.

I started to eat more vegetables (I hate vegetables kill me) and less starchy things like rice. I also started eating more lean white meat like chicken rather than red meat. This way you can get more protein. If you're craving a snack try some eggs or fruit. I'm allergic to a million things so my options are quite limited.

Many teas will speed up your metabolism, especially green and white tea. They come from the same plant. I think I drink a little too much but my metabolism is pretty fast now.

2. You have to exercise. Nooo! Exercise! It's okay, don't worry. For someone lazy like me, walking at a slightly fast pace is the most I will do. You don't have to do too much, but you should try to walk at least 10000 steps a day. I recommend getting an app to track your steps, or one of those fitbit things. I exercise like once a week...

3. Drink lots of water! Water is good! Water is always good! At least six cups a day! Tea counts too. No sugary drinks like soda! Try to cut down on your juice intake.

4. Get a grip. If you're like me it will be very hard to cut out junk food and exercise. You have to have some self control. It's hard but I know you can do it! Every time you reach for more chips remind yourself what your goal is. Imagine how happy and accomplished you'll feel when you reach it. Keep fighting!

Also, your weight will change throughout the day so don't worry if you step on the scale and you're suddenly 5 pounds heavier.

Good luck! ୧( ॑ധ ॑)୨ And remember I am not a doctor and mainly listen to your own judgement for losing weight.

Review - Berry Holic Grey Circle Lenses

大家好! I ordered a pair of Berry Holic grey circle lenses two days ago from kawaiilovebeauty and it's already here, wow! I love the fast shipping. (I live in the USA so it might vary) I don't know what's with me and grey contacts, I just happen to like the color a lot. I'm very excited to try these, let's get started!

In the jar
A bit more information:
Diameter: 14.2mm
Water content: 38%
Base curve: 8.6
Lifespan: 1 year

These lenses came with instructions so it's great for first time lens users! It also came with a free lens case so that's a plus. I got a coupon for 10% off my next purchase too. To whoever's running kawaiilovebeauty, thank you ;o; I'm in love with the good customer service and cute packaging! It came with the geo sticker so I know it's a genuine product.

When you take the lenses out of the package you can see that there's a yellowish ring around the middle. Don't worry about it. It just helps the color blend into your natural eyes, and it doesn't show. I think the same goes with all the other colors of Berry Holic.

Please excuse the redness ;w;  I'll upload a better picture later

They look really nice! You could wear them to school with natural makeup and not look like you have bug eyes. The contacts are very comfortable but I had some difficulty putting one in (Maybe it's just my inexperienced fingers) One of my eyes is slightly red because I poked it by accident, oops.

Overall Opinion:

I really like these lenses! They're cute and just big enough to give your pupils some extra width. They're comfortable too, like you're not wearing any lenses. My eyes are dark brown and they were still able to make such a vibrant grey color.

Pros: Comfortable, nice color. The intensity of the grey was good on my dark eyes.
Cons: A bit big... I was going into this with hopes of a small lens but this works too. It's personal preference but I don't like my lenses to be bigger than 14.2mm

Here's the site where I buy my lenses currently: kawaiilovebeauty See you next time!

Review - Elishacoy 3D Spin Cleaner

I bought the Elishacoy 3D Spin Cleaner from Wishtrend a while back and I just recieved it. Facial cleaning always takes a really long time for me, especially if I'm wearing makeup, so I thought this would be useful in removing makeup better. (Click here for the link - no I am not sponsored haha)

The one I got came with Elishacoy Vita Capsule Cleanser and a small blackhead brush. I'll be reviewing those too :>

The cleaner came with two bushes: The white one for the broad areas of the face and a blackhead brush. The first thing I noticed was that the white brush was very soft. This is great because I have super sensitive skin and it gets irritated really easily. The blackhead brush is also soft, just a bit firmer since it's meant to clean the areas where you have more pores (like your nose).

The cleanser that came with the product is also really nice. It has natural ingredients and a clean, fresh smell. It has beads in it but they're so small you don't even feel them.

After cleaning my face for the first time I instantly felt refreshed! And the brushes were so gentle with my skin so I don't have to worry about irritation. The only downside was that the cleanser did make my skin slightly dry, but I solved that really quickly with some moisturizer.

I had some thin skin on my right cheek after scratching it a lot, so be careful not to use the cleaner on areas that need to heal.

Overall Feeling:

I really enjoy this product! I would recommend it to those of you who have sensitive skin, and those who want to make cleansing easier.

Pros: Soft, gentle brushes, good smell, efficient, no irritation
Cons: Dryness after cleansing, cleaner stings a little on sensitive areas

✿ Have a great day

Review - Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter

A while ago I was hunting for lip balms, because my skin is very dry and naturally so are my lips. My lips get chapped a lot, especially in winter, I'm sure you can relate. Those little EOS lip balm egg thingies smelled really nice, but they didn't do the trick for me. They only worked for like ten minutes before I had to reapply. In fact, they might even have made my lips drier.

After a little research I found the Vaseline Lip Therapy at my local CVS for $2.00, and I decided try the cocoa butter one. I read somewhere that cocoa butter has natural moisturizing properties.

It smells like cocoa butter (Duh). The smell is pleasant, it's not very strong. Vaseline is petroleum jelly so the texture is quite thick. I really love this product because the petroleum jelly locks in the moisture to my lips and I don't have to worry about constant application (^・ω・^ )

Overall Opinion

This really helped my lips keep in moisture. It made them really soft. So if you have super dry lips like mine, perhaps you should give this product a try. I've also tried to use it on other areas of my face that are dry and it definitely helps. If you don't like sticking your fingers into the pot you can always use a Q-tip or something else.

Pros: Portable size, nice scent, very moisturizing
Cons: None

✿ Hope you have a lovely day

None of these products are sponsored, I buy them all with my own money so you can be sure the review is 100% honest :>
